		<description>Yes, you must work with care when commiting to svn and pulling changes from svn to git, but the benefits of Git greatly overshadow the gotchas and, as you say, the effort is worth.</description>

I updated the info to use the last released version of thrift on the thrift webpage.
Anyway, Pharo and Cassandra have released new versions too so this post is getting outdated fast but should work as indicated.</description>
